چکیده

Abstract Leather industries cause soil pollution in terms of leather wastes. Chrome-containing wastes (CCLW) also various types pollutions such as air and pollution. The utilization CCLW the development aluminum-based composite is emerging area synthesis materials. In this study, chromium(Cr) form collagen powder was extracted from CCLW. Extracted ball milled with alumina particles for 12.5, 25, 50, 75, 100 h. average density mixture ball-milled reduced by about 1.20% after milling stir casting technique employed to develop material. reinforced material showed a fair distribution reinforcement compared without Tensile strength hardness improved 35.53 46.61%, respectively, using 5% aluminum alloy. However, ductility toughness were reduced. Corrosion weight loss thermal expansion Al/5% collagen/5% found be 0.022 mg 5.44 mm 3 , respectively. X-Ray diffraction presence Al, Al 2 O Cr phases. hard phases responsible enhancing tensile composite. developed can utilized fabrication engine blocks, connecting rods, piston rings.

Distribution of Cr ( III ) and Cr ( VI ) in chrome tanned leather

Basic chromium sulphate is the most versatile and common tanning agent in the leather industry. Under certain circumstances, the oxidation of the trivalent chromium salts into the hexavalent compounds, which are used in leather manufacture, is a crucial issue. In this study, different proportions of basic chromium sulphate were used in tanning and re-tanning processes according to a commonly us...

Ozonation-based decolorization of food dyes for recovery of fruit leather wastes.

Commercial manufacture of fruit leathers (FL) usually results in a portion of the product that is out of specification. The disposition of this material poses special challenges in the food industry. Because the material remains edible and contains valuable ingredients (fruit pulp, sugars, acidulates, etc.), an ideal solution would be to recover this material for product rework. A key practical...
